I am a third year PhD student in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University. I am co-advised by Prof. Peter Steenkiste and Prof. Srinivasan Seshan. My research interests include computer networks and systems. I design and build large-scale networked computers to sustain the performance scaling of computing in post Moore’s Law era. Most recently, I have been working on reconfigurable data center networks, optical networks and ML systems.

I am very fortunate to collaborate with Prof. Minlan Yu, Prof. Manya Ghobadi, Prof. Alex C. Snoeren, Srikanth Kandula, Ilias Marinos, Sadjad Fouladi.

Prior to CMU, I was a technical lead on Google’s Network Infrastructure team, where I built Google’s Jupiter fabric and its SDN controller Orion.

I received my masters degree in computer engineering from University of Virginia, and a bachelor in electrical engineering from Wuhan University.
